Big Dipper Scarf

Big Dipper Scarf Knitting Pattern

This entire scarf is double knit. The end result is a scarf that is twice as thick as other scarves, making it a perfect gift for someone who has to endure any cold, bitter winters.

If you are new to beadwork, this is a great project to start with. Only 14 beads are used in the entire scarf. Each set of 7 beads represents the Big Dipper within the Ursa Major constellation. All beads are attached by the slipped stitch technique, which is considered the easier of the two well-known techniques.
