What
does “errata” mean?
Simply, errata are pattern corrections.
Although designers take special care to

occasionally errors are found after the
pattern has been published. If an error
is detected in a pattern that you have
already purchased, you will receive an
email from The Knitting Vault informing
you of the correction.
Q. Where can I find errata/corrections
for a specific pattern?
Errata/corrections will be available as
text on the pattern description page.
Gift Certificates
Q. How do your Gift Certificates work?
Gift Certificates are a new
way for you to buy the perfect present
for knitters and crocheters.
Gift Certificates establish a
balance account for the recipient that
can be used as payment towards any items
found on The Knitting Vault.
Q. Do I
have to be a Knitting Vault member to
buy a Gift Certificate?
No. Anyone can buy a Gift
Certificate.
Q. If I
am purchasing a printable Gift
Certificate, why do I need to enter the
recipient's email address?
While purchasing a printable certificate
is the most secure method, all
Gift Certificates are linked
to the recipient's email address, which
ensures that if a Gift
Certificates code is lost or taken, the
recipient can still use it.
Q. If I
choose to have the Gift Certificate delivered via email, how
long will it take to arrive?
Gift certificates will be sent
immediately upon purchase. Please note
that since email is often sent or
received on shared or less secure

responsibility for any misuse of
information.
Q. Can I
purchase a Gift Certificate
for a recipient outside of the United
States?
Yes. They are valid anywhere in the
world.
